About the Artist

From an early age, I’ve always been drawn to creating with my hands. It’s in those unstructured moments of my childhood, when the world seemed wide open, that I first discovered the joy of making.

In a household bustling with activity, I would tuck myself away, rummaging through the house for unconventional materials—anything I could find—to sculpt or make pictures. Through these playful ways of following my curiosity, I learned the power of transforming the ordinary into something deeply personal and imaginative.

I am still inspired to create by what is in my surroundings. As an Impressionist painter living in the coastal region of Southern California, I find inspiration in everyday life, especially in the water. The textures, colors, and patterns of the natural world are endlessly fascinating to me.

Beachcombing in the tide pools with my kids has become a regular activity, one that keeps me observant and curious, constantly feeding my creative spirit.
